Travel By Airplane
Discussion: Jaden traveled from Texas to our new home in Xinjiang by taking 3 different airplanes. It took him 30 hours to get here. That is more than one whole day!
On the plane, Jaden had to think of things to do so he wouldn’t get bored. He ate all his meals and snacks on the plane. He even had to sleep on the plane, which was a little hard because there were no beds. In his seat he read books, played with his cars and stickers. He watched movies and colored. Whenever we arrived at a new airport, he would run and play in the play areas until it was time to get back on the plane. When we finally arrived to our new home he was very tired.
Have you ever gone on a trip? Did you take a car or an airplane or a boat? Was the trip very long?
Sometimes when we have to ride in the car or airplane for a long time we get tired of waiting to get there. What did you do in the car or airplane so you didn’t get bored? What are some ideas or games you can play when you have to ride in the car?

“…Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
That means, that even when we are in the car or on the airplane God is with us. So you could even sing songs to God when you’re in the car or talk to Him about what you see out the window.
Sometimes traveling can be boring and its hard to have a good attitude. But it can also be fun if we ask God to help us have a good attitude and try to think of things we can do while we wait.
